In recent years, souvenir photos are a must: holidays, birthdays, weddings, parties, sports essays and much more are regularly immortalized by improvised photographers who, thanks to increasingly advanced tools, can obtain ever better photographs and which can also be sold and therefore giving him away to earn with photos.
And in some cases, the compliments are not long in coming, friends ask you to take pictures for them, or maybe you aim to participate in a photo contest, so much so that sooner or later the question arises: is it possible to make money with photos?
The answer is definitely yes: there are several ways to sell photos and profit from your passion as a photographer.

First of all, it is good that you know that the definition of an amateur photographer does not imply that you do not know how to take photographs, but simply that the photographer is not your main channel of profit.
You probably have another job that, in any case, allows you to have enough time to devote yourself to your passion, that of photography. Many disagree, but as far as I’m concerned I am convinced that there are many ways to make money with photography, thanks also and above all to the use of the web.
HOW TO SELL PHOTOS ON THE INTERNET
E-commerce sites, blogs and many different types of internet sites use images and photographs that are never before becoming protagonists of our reality.
Just look around and see photos everywhere! Photos are now essential to convey any type of message, from emotional to professional.
Of course, you don’t have to imagine that the life of the amateur photographer is always “adventurous” that is linked to photographs of unspoiled nature. These populations still live in villages and tribes and so on.
Often, especially at the beginning, the photos that allow you to earn something are the newspaper photos.
PHOTOGRAPHING OBJECTS FOR SALE
For example, if you love taking pictures of objects, furnishings and accessories, you can find a very interesting job as a photographer of products for sale.
What does it mean? Today, more and more people and companies need to take photos of their products for online or printed catalogs and individually sell handcrafted objects through channels such as e-bay or social networks.

A classic case, once again, is that of objects. You can choose to take a photo of a bracelet, an ornament, or another small object in its original context or isolate it, placing it on a cloth or illuminating it with a particular light so that its characteristics are best highlighted.

It is a constantly growing channel as there are more sites to sell photos, enrich editorial articles or particular internet pages, and brochures, billboards, and much more.

When you work in this sector, you usually subscribe to certain specialized sites to sell photos online.
The ways to join are different depending on the site: some ask you to send test photos to understand the level and kind of photos you want to sell. If your photos pass the evaluation test, then you can become their “official seller” exclusively or not.
If you choose to sell certain photos only to a specific site, the rights recognized at the time of sale are usually higher and can exceed 30% of the sale price.
In other cases, it is not necessary to carry out an access exam, but just register and upload the photos: the prices, of course, may vary depending on the type of photo, that is, if they are generic photos, more easily requested on the net, but also more easily sold, or in the case of particular photos, specific for certain sectors.
In this case, even though the sale may be more difficult, higher earnings are guaranteed.
Furthermore, considering the ever-increasing use of photos on the net, it is important to remember that the more you can vary subjects and photo styles, the easier it is to sell photos. For this reason, it is important to upload only and above all quality photos, able to be selected in an increasingly competitive context.

When it comes to making money with photography, perhaps many imagine themselves taking photos at a wedding or party, concert, or sporting event.
Suppose these roles today are mainly played by professional photographers. In that case, however, it is not certain that you cannot try, with the awareness that the competition from professionals is not only very high but also equipped with techniques and means that you probably do not yet have.
But if photography is a passion, it is good that it remains such. If you love to take a certain type of photography, you are certainly encouraged to improve in that sector, thus trying to earn something in such a way as to feel more satisfied.
Of course, before you can access major events, such as a wedding, it’s a good idea to start at a lower level.

The birthday photos allow you to have a wide panorama of action, both for the locations, which can be both outdoors and indoors and for the subjects that can range from children to teens to adults.
